For most items, our in-house team authenticates using their expertise and over 10 years of data and experience. For specialist pieces (particularly high-value items like certain Hermès bags, fine jewellery, or watches), we may require external authentication services. If this is needed, we'll contact you. There will be an extra charge for this external authentication service. If an item requires external authentication, the VIP team will make contact to advise.
